Packaging
Every order is packed with care to ensure it reaches you safely:
• Vinyl is shipped outside of the jacket (unless sealed) in a protective inner sleeve to avoid seam splits.
• Sturdy, purpose-made record mailers with extra cardboard stiffeners are used for all shipments.
Grading System
We use the trusted Goldmine Grading Standard for all used vinyl:
• Mint (M): Perfect and sealed.
• Near Mint (NM): Barely played, no obvious flaws.
• Very Good Plus (VG+): Light signs of use, still excellent sound.
• Very Good (VG): Some noise, visible wear but fully playable.
• Good Plus (G+) / Good (G): Noticeable wear or surface noise but not trashed.
We strive to grade conservatively and accurately. If you feel a record wasn’t as described, just let us know.

Thank you for shopping with us. We take pride in offering quality used vinyl records, accurately graded using the Goldmine Grading System. Please read the policy below to understand your rights and our approach to returns and exchanges.
Record Grading & Product Descriptions
Most records are used/vintage and graded according to the Goldmine Standard. We do our best to describe each item accurately, including any notable wear or imperfections. If you ever have questions about a particular records or would like photos to consider before buying, please reach out—we’re happy to help.
Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns and exchanges under the following circumstances:

Right to Cancel (UK Customers)
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK customers have the legal right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason. If you exercise this right, you will receive a full refund (including the original postage costs), but you are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Please note:
The right to cancel does not apply to sealed records that have been opened after delivery. If a sealed record is opened, your statutory right to cancel still applies if the item is faulty, but we may make a deduction from your refund to reflect any loss in value.
• To exercise your right to cancel, please email us at dig.down.records@gmail.com with your order number and cancellation request.
Refunds
Refunds are processed once the returned item is received and inspected. We reserve the right to deduct an appropriate amount if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to assess it (i.e. handling that diminishes its value).
Please note: We do not offer partial refunds as a standard policy.
If there is a problem with your order, we are happy to work with you to resolve it through a return, exchange, or full refund where appropriate and in accordance with UK consumer law.
